On Friday our Induction consisted of Pigeon English (the local language), this is probably the most fun lesson. It is like no other language I've ever heard, it is based on English and originates from miss hearing the English colonial powers in the area. We also had Geography.
In the afternoon we visited Limbe which is a coastal town. We went to Limbe Zoo, the Botanical gardens and finished at the beach where we ate grilled fish! I actually like the fish here, which is most suprising as I have never like any fish other than Tuna.
Yum!
Sorry these entries are so short but I am in a hurry. Hopefully, I will be padding out some entries when I have more time.

Written by Dana on 2005-09-17 19:50:50This is random, but I was in Cameroon from Jan-May 2005, studying in Yaounde, and I desperately want to go back, so I was looking into UAC and found your site! I'm really interested to hear about your experience. If you have a chance (I know how spotty the internet can be there), I'd love to hear about it! Good luck to you!
