We're now back in the UK. Recovering from our flight back and the massive culture shock.

13-20/10/05 Mid-Visit Tour

On Sunday 13^th November we set out on our mid visit tour, which comes distinctly towards the end of our stay. We decided to take our tour towards the end because the roads are impassable in the wet season.

Our tour took us to the towns of Foumban, Bafoussam, Kumbo and Bamenda. All in the North West or West province. The towns of Foumban and Bafoussam are part of the French speaking sector and Kumbo and Bamenda in the English.

11/11/05 Teacher Training

On Wednesday afternoon Anna held a teacher training workshop for the staff at Jamadianle. She demonstrated some different teaching styles and focused on improving literacy. The workshop seemed to have a positive impact and by today some teachers were already trying different techniques. Hopefully this will continue and Anna is spending time in lessons helping them as necessary when trying these new ideas.
